Our gallery in Marlborough, Wiltshire offers an eclectic mix of affordable paintings, prints, constructions, sculptures and ceramics by Modern British artists. 

Since the early 1990s, Katharine House Gallery has dealt in Modern British Art with particular emphasis on the post-war period. Painters & sculptors whose work we regularly stock include Robert Adams, Martin Bradley, Michael Canney, Geoffrey Clarke R.A., George Dannatt, Alan Davie, Roy Turner Durrant, Paul Feiler, William Gear, Paul Mount, Margaret Lovell, Breon O'Casey, Alan Reynolds, James Tower, John Wells & Frank Avray Wilson. 

Amongst recent major exhibitions were 'Roy Turner Durrant' in 2011, held in Cork Street, London W1 & Marlborough; 'British Abstract Art 1950s -1980s' in Marlborough and 'Post-War British Art' - a joint exhibition with Askew Art in London. Over the past few years we have also held successful one-man shows of the work of Michael Canney, Morris Cox and Barbara Jones. In 2012 & 2013 we took part in all of the 20/21 Art Fairs at the Royal College of Art and in January 2013 we exhibited at the London Art Fair in Islington. Starting with Islington in January 2014, we are planning to continue participating in these major London events in future years.
